Does my smart battery control board need replacing?
- My board won’t turn on
- My board only rides for a couple of minutes

Step 1: Try charging your board with both chargers.
If the light on the charger stays green when plugged into your board, please proceed to step 2.
If the light on the charger turns red; leave it plugged in charging making sure that after at least 20 minutes the light on the charger is still red. Your battery was just dead and was needing charging. Leave the charger plugged into the board until the light on the charger turns green again. You should be all good to go ;)
Step 2: With the charger still plugged into your board, press the power button on your board for half a second.
If your board turns on, please proceed to step 3.
If your board does nothing, wait 3 minutes and try pressing the power button again for half a second. If your board turns on, proceed to step 3. If your board still does not turn on, please message support and tell them ‘my board is stuck on step 2’ along with any more information you think could be helpful :) email@example.com
Step 3: With your board on, and your charger still plugged into your board, simply unplug the charger.
If your board automatically turns off within 3-5 seconds, your battery may need replacement :( Please message customer support and tell them ‘I made it to step 3 and my board turns off automatically’. Please also describe how/when you encountered this problem, and provide any additional information you think could be helpful :) firstname.lastname@example.org
If your board stays on, run your drive wheel(s) on high speed for 2 minutes. The easiest way to do this is to lay your board on the ground grip tape down, and make sure nothing nearby can get caught by the drive wheel(s). If your board automatically turns off in that 2 minutes, repeat steps 1-3 one more time. If you have the same or different results, please send those results to email@example.com. If your board continues to run without a problem, take it out for a short test ride in a safe area. If your problem is fixed, Great!, if you are experiencing anything else, please message support with as much detail as possible.
